Hello. I am a painter, living and working in Surrey, close to the Sussex border. I learned to paint from a local artist who took me under his wing when I was in my early teens. The stresses and strains of my job as an accountant meant that as time went on, I was increasingly less able to devote the time I would have liked to painting, so I decided to go for early retirement so that I could paint. Time, I thought, for something completely different! So I joined the local Dorking Group of Artists and, more recently, the North Weald Art Group. I have been working at developing my skills and expanding my range a number of years now.
